Pauline O' Brien BA Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy fully accredited
I qualified in Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2011. I have a background in one to one counselling and group work. I am motivated to help people achieve their full potential and to be the best they can be in their life. I work from a Humanistic point of view.
As human beings, everyone experiences difficult times in their life when things have become unmanageable in some way. We can often feel down, sad, angry, afraid, frustrated, confused, tired, stressed. Sometimes, life can really challenge us and we simply have no idea how to cope. This often passes by itself, but sometimes it doesn't, it can be helpful to seek professional help.
"I chose the honesty flower as my logo as it is symbolic to this field of work, signifying that unless you are honest with yourself and others you will not grow as a person"
There are a variety of reasons why a person can end up struggling emotionally in their life. For example it can be as a result of the loss of a loved one, through death or a relationship break up. I can help you to explore the source of your problems and navigate your way to feeling good again. Counselling can help you to gain insight and knowledge, to share your struggle and gain perspective, to learn new skills and to strengthen what you already know.
I always work with my clients in a warm, compassionate, respectful, direct and confidential manner.
Looking at yourself, your life, your patterns and going on a journey worth taking.
" Every journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step"
